February 2026 Highlights
At ʻĀina Hoʻōla Initiative, our work is grounded in hands-on stewardship. Every workday, every volunteer, and every muddy step forward supports the long healing of this special place.

2026: Makahiki Kuleana Kahakai
2026 has been declared the Year of Our Coastal Kuleana (Makahiki Kuleana Kahakai). As we enter our sixth year of restoration work at Lokowaka, we are grateful to be part of this collective effort to mālama our coastal environments for generations to come.
